Social Tea Set is a series of propositions to encourage connections and social interactions for people living with dementia. Through the creation of music and sounds during tea time, all three developed concepts aim to encourage social interactions and increase the sense of belonging to a group.
The Rhythmical Mugs invite users to play and interact with the mugs to generate music. Each cup represents an instrument, by moving the cups to different saucers, the user modulates the rhythm and style of each instrument.
